Your adventure begins in Bishkek, where you meet your guide and depart towards the scenic Chon-Kemin National Park.
Along the way, we stop at the iconic Burana Tower, a UNESCO-linked historical site and one of the oldest architectural monuments in the region. This tower is all that remains of the ancient Silk Road city of Balasagun, once a thriving center of the Karakhanid Empire.
After arriving in Chon-Kemin, enjoy a traditional lunch at a cozy guesthouse surrounded by nature. In the afternoon, we head out for a light hike through rolling hills, forests, and river valleys, offering a perfect introduction to Kyrgyzstan’s landscapes.

Chon-Kemin – Son-Kol Lake
After breakfast, we continue our journey to the legendary Son-Kol Lake, located at 3016 meters above sea level.
On the way, we visit a traditional felt workshop, where you will witness how Kyrgyz artisans create handmade carpets and decorations using centuries-old techniques.
Upon arrival at Son-Kol, you will immediately feel the silence and vastness of the high-altitude steppe. After lunch in a yurt camp, you can enjoy optional horseback riding — the most authentic way to explore the area, just like local nomads.

Son-Kol – Naryn

Today is one of the highlights of the journey. We travel deep into the mountains towards Kel-Suu Lake, located near the Chinese border.

From the yurt camp, we hike (or ride horses) approximately 12 km to reach the lake. Suddenly, a hidden turquoise lake appears between massive rock walls — one of the most surreal landscapes in Central Asia.
You will stay with a local nomadic family, experiencing authentic Kyrgyz hospitality.

Kel-Suu – Issyk-Kul (Bokonbaevo)
After breakfast, we begin our long but scenic drive towards the legendary Issyk-Kul Lake, often called the “Pearl of Central Asia.”
The landscape dramatically transforms from green alpine pastures to dry, Mars-like canyons. We stop at Ak-Say Canyon, known for its striking red formations.
In the evening, arrive in Bokonbaevo and enjoy a peaceful sunset by the lake.

Bokonbaevo – Karakol
Today we explore some of the most famous natural landmarks around Issyk-Kul.
First stop is Skazka Canyon, also known as “Fairy Tale Canyon,” famous for its фантастические песчаные формы.
Then we visit Jeti-Oguz, where red rock formations resemble “Seven Bulls.” Nearby, you’ll also see the iconic “Broken Heart” cliff.
Arrival in Karakol, followed by a city tour:

Today is pure adventure. We take a rugged Soviet-style 4WD truck to Altyn-Arashan, one of the most beautiful alpine valleys in Kyrgyzstan.
The road itself is an experience — wild, bumpy, and unforgettable.
Once there, enjoy hiking through forests and mountains, and relax in natural hot springs with panoramic views.
Return to Karakol in the evening.
