This 5-day journey offers a perfect introduction to Kyrgyzstan, combining cultural experiences, scenic landscapes, and light hiking. The itinerary takes you from Bishkek through the picturesque Chon-Kemin Valley and along the shores of Issyk-Kul Lake to Karakol and Bokonbaevo.

Along the way, travelers experience a mix of nomadic traditions and natural highlights, including Burana Tower, alpine gorges, waterfalls, and canyon landscapes. The program also features unique cultural activities such as eagle hunting demonstrations, a traditional bread-making show, and visits to local families.

A highlight of the trip is the excursion to Altyn-Arashan Valley, where guests travel by a Soviet-era military truck and explore one of the most beautiful mountain areas in Kyrgyzstan, with optional hikes to natural hot springs.

Bishkek → Chon-Kemin

Meeting in Bishkek and transfer to Chon-Kemin Valley. On the way, visit the Burana Tower, an important historical site of the Silk Road.

Lunch en route.

In the afternoon, enjoy horseback riding in the beautiful landscapes of Chon-Kemin National Park.

Dinner and overnight in a guesthouse.

Chon-Kemin → Karakol

Breakfast. Transfer towards Karakol along the northern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake.

On the way, stop at Kok-Moinok Canyon for a short hike. Continue to Cholpon-Ata for lunch.

Visit the scenic Grigorevka and Semenovka gorges.

Arrival in Karakol. Dinner and overnight in a hotel.

Karakol → Altyn-Arashan → Karakol

After breakfast, transfer by Soviet military truck (GAZ-66) to Altyn-Arashan Valley (2,500 m).

Enjoy the stunning mountain scenery and take an optional hike to the wild hot springs.

Return to Karakol. Continue to a local village for a traditional bread-making show and dinner with a Kyrgyz family.

Visit Ak-Suu hot springs.

Overnight in Karakol.

Breakfast. Drive towards Bokonbaevo village along the southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake.

On the way, visit Jeti-Oguz rock formations (Seven Bulls and Broken Heart).

Continue to Barskoon Gorge for a short hike to the waterfall. Lunch.

Visit Skazka (Fairy Tale) Canyon.

Arrival in Bokonbaevo. Dinner and overnight in a guesthouse.
